Default Poll: Favorite MM Secondary

Now I understand there has been a lot of disput over which MM type is the best, but that is not the question here. This poll is about personal perference and which MM type is your favorite. Feel free to state your nopinions, but please no bashing anyone else, because with MM it has come down to ypur personal preference and which build works for your playing style.

Personally I cast my vote for a N/E.

My MM is only in the Northern Shiverpeaks, but I'd go with N/Mo or N/Me. Mesmer is a pretty awesome class (despite few being around), for energy management and such. That or monk for simply keeping your minions alive.

My MM is N/Mo.

N/Mo for heal area.

N/R Healing spring is nice but the easily interrupted is a pain. Serpent's Quickness is also good for MM.

N/E??? Only thing I could see is usage of Glyph of Renewal, which is pretty useless for MM since there is 15 second recharge.

N/Me is kind of pointless unless you are using it for energy concerns for a MM. As a MM you don't have many points to put in stuff other than Soul Reaping and Death Magic if you want Lvl 18 minions.

The point of N/E is that w/ glyph of renwel you can keep verta's sacrifice forever(cast GoR then vertas...wait for GoR to recharge<15secs> and then repeat...works b/c veratas lasts for 21sec<w/ lvl16 DM>).....also you have better energy managemeent b/c you can put more pts into soul reaping(instead of putting them into healing prayers for heal area), and you have glyph of lesser energy.

Again, however this is just my opinion and is what I like to do....N/Mo has posisitves too, I just prefer N/E.

Gotta say I like N/Mo best as a Minion Master... Not for healing my minions, Blood of the Master and Verata's Sacrifice do that well enough (Ok, Heal Area occasionally, and Healing Breeze for recovering sacrifice), but for a hard res. I like Rebirth far too much, it saves my (PuG's) ass.

I like N/Mo, because MM only takes 2-3 skills...meaning I can still heal my team

I go with N/Mo almost always. The simplicity and well-roundedness (Deal Damage with minions, heal minions, heal yourself, heal your party, rez your party) works wounderfully.

I have gone N/Me for Queen Farming outside of Augury, but that's just cause it works easier for the Necro to bring the interupts and enchant removals than the Tank or Monk (who can bring heal area). Also, since your minions don't need to live as long, you don't need all forms of healing.

a N/R can also bring Winnowing along. VERY useful if you dont have a ranger already carrying it and you're in an area where you can get a high minion count.

When I was a N/Mo, I found myself riding a ragged edge in Energy mangment, even with OoB. Once I bought the bullet and tried N/R, I fell in love. SQ fits well into my MM build, and makes for an easy swap on the rare times i want to go SS curse (or even certain [odd] interupt builds). Healing Spring showed a boost in MM health, and by proxy MM numbers too. Coupled with SQ (again) downtime is not much of a facotr, even if I do get an interupt.

Most important for me. Often as a N/R I felt kind of left out while the rest of the team was getting me my corpses at the start of missions/farms. With Winnowing I now feel like an effective offensive member of the group even during that short time my babies are yet to spawn.
